Vincent Scott

Vince is a retired Navy Cryptologist and serial entrepreneur who has started two companies, two not for profits, and has more on the way. He currently serves as the CEO of Defense Cybersecurity Group, a cyber consulting company focused on the new DoD Cyber requirements for the Defense Industrial Base where he brings the cyber offensive mindset of his Navy career to cyber defense for US companies. He also serves as the Chief Security Officer for STI-TEC a defense contractor and as the FBI Infragard DIB Subject Matter Expert on Cyberwarfare. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a BS in computer science, the University of Maryland system with a MS in Management Information Systems, the Air War College and Joint Forces Staff College with certificates in joint and operational strategic planning, University of Fairfax with a postgraduate certificate in Information Security, Oklahoma State Veteran Entrepreneurship program and holds a number of cyber certifications.

Dr. Maureen McWhite

Dr. McWhite is the Owner and Founder of 4Gen Consulting Services LLC. She has been in the Information Technology industry for over 30 years in various capacities within the private and public sector. She has presented at various conferences and workshops in the U.S. and internationally on the topic of cybersecurity including Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Dr. McWhite also brings her experience as an instructor. She is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Wilmington University where is teaches in the undergraduate and graduate cybersecurity programs. Her passion for teaching and mentoring has led to other notable roles such as Advisory Board member at Norwich University for Master of Science in Cybersecurity program, HBCU Liaison for the CyberTruck Challenge, Hack the Port 2021 Steering Committee member, and 2021 NIST PSCR UAS Triple Challenge Subject Matter Expert for Challenge 3 Shields Up.

Dr. McWhite received her Doctor of Information Technology degree in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity from Capella University, her Master of Business Administration from Tampa College, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A & M University. She is a CMMC-Registered Practitioner and a CMMC-Provisional Instructor and is currently working on her CISSP.

Jeff Baldwin

Jeff Baldwin has a background as a senior information systems security engineer and cybersecurity architect with over 15 years of cybersecurity experience in a variety of frameworks such as NIST RMF, DIACAP, NISPOM, DCID 6/3, and NISCAP. Jeff has assessed over 150 systems as a Security Control Assessor, and as an Information Systems Security Engineer, he has helped over 100 systems achieve Authority to Operate (ATO).

Jeff has 11+ years of teaching experience for several IT and IT Security courses at two nationally accredited state universities as an Adjunct Professor, and he is an AWS Academy Accredited Educator. He is also a former Official (ISC)2 Instructor for the CISSP and ISSEP certifications. Other notable roles include Cybersecurity Architect for Leidos, Supply Chain Cybersecurity Principal and Senior Cybersecurity Engineering Manager for L3Harris Technologies, Senior Principal Analyst for GDIT, Director of Enterprise Security Solutions for DigiFlight Inc, President and Chairman for (ISC)2 Baltimore Chapter, and Vice President of Education for ISSA-NOVA.

Jeff is a Doctor of Science in Cybersecurity candidate expecting the completion of his dissertation in late 2021, and he has earned a Master of Science in Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University. He has also earned a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology: Network Administration with a minor in Application Software Development from SUNY College of Technology at Alfred. His relevant industry certifications include CISSP, ISSEP, ISSAP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, PMP, CSM, Cloud+, CySA+, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.

Paul Netopski

Paul is the founder and owner of Critical Prism Defense LLC, a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) cybersecurity consultancy. Before that, Paul served in various cybersecurity and information technology roles in the space and defense industry for over 20 years. He specialized in bringing multiple disciplines of IT and cybersecurity under a single umbrella to provide synchronous full lifecycle management of services for engineering and product development teams, from concept and design all the way through decommissioning. Paul served in the United States Navy for 6 years as an electronics technician with duties overlapping electronics, information technology and cybersecurity. Paul holds several certifications (CISSP, C|CISO, C|EH, ITILv3) and participates in professional organizations including general business (ABA), national defense (NDIA, SENEDIA, UTIC), industrial security (NCMS), cybersecurity (RIMS, ISSA, (ISC)2 [including local chapters]), contract management (NCMA), autonomous vehicles (AUVSI) and supply chain (CSCMP, APICS/ASCM). He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Information Assurance and Security from Capella University. Paul is a CMMC Provisional Instructor, Provisional Assessor and Registered Practitioner.
